Program Content Information

Enrique Aet, a young civil engineer, is a professional engaged in the construction of communication routes at the beginning of the 20th century in Peru. It is a time of construction and development strongly influenced by the positivist spirit of a Republic that is destined to integrate a country with a rugged and difficult geography. Coming out of a destructive war at the end of the previous century, the Peruvian Republic has begun its advance towards the remote but important regions of the jungle, in an attempt to incorporate the enormous Amazon into the rest of the country.
